SOFTWARE ENGINEER TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:
- The software engineer will work in a small team of developers or individually to deliver custom software applications for end users. The individual designs or customizes software to optimize operational efficiency. Analyze/design datasets within an application area--either on a team or individually. Researches, designs, develop and tests application and operating system-level software utilizing open source software tools.
Required Skills:
- Research and development experience with details on progression of ideas to production systems
- Rapid development experience
- Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and languages (Java, C++, C#,) with proven customer examples
- Experience with Linux in software development environment
- Experience with Windows environments
- Experience with scripting processes in Python or BASH
- Candidate should be familiar with AGILE programming practices
- Candidate should have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related scientific/technical discipline
- TS/SCI with Poly required
Desired Skills:
- Experience with relational database--e.g., MySQL
- Experience with scripting processes in PHP
- Experience with networking analysis and network security
- Experience with integrating existing software into new products and systems
- Experience with Technical Writing concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education:
- Requires 5 to 7 years with BS or 3 to 5 years with MS

HARDWARE/ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

From this experience, LST has the proven ability to quickly provide thorough and efficient solutions to complex testing problems. Test engineering tasks involve independent testing of electronic systems and documentation development.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline), or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience (or a Master's + 8 years).
- Direct and demonstrated experience in the design, development, and debugging of analog and digital systems.
- Hands-on experience with analog and digital test equipment ranging from multimeters to oscilloscopes.
- A self-starter with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to interface with all levels of internal management, as well as program sponsors and external contractors.
- Must be a US Citizen and Possess an active US Government Security Clearance.
Qualifications Desirable:
- Experience developing and testing MATLAB applications.
- Experience writing software in C, C++, Keysight VEE and/or LabVIEW.
- Direct and demonstrated experience in design, development and debugging of RF systems.
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum and network analyzers.
- Experience testing and designing antennas.
- Experience with Ansys HFSS.
- Programming experience with micro-controllers and/or embedded Linux.
